Dhal – Cacophony April 17, 2010 at 11:05 am

Dhal has a very tough sound to try and describe and/or label. Maybe that’s a good thing. To me, this album is the soundtrack to every trippy-as-fuck dream anyone has ever had. Or maybe music to listen to while going on a diving expedition of ancient city ruins. The strange sounds you hear during hypnagogia. It fits all those things, and probably any other fey situations or feelings you can think of. Some of the tracks have this creepy crawly voice accentuating the dysphoric ambiance created…this shit is beautiful. This is their only release and that makes me very sad. Listen, for your own good.
